LUXE is a tiered glass ceiling light by SHUCHUANG. Nested rectangular tiers, each a channel of vertical glass drops, step up in height toward the centre of the ceiling, so the room is ringed by concentric bands of light rather than lit from one point. The drops are hung in continuous runs so the tiers read as unbroken lines from any seat, and the stepped heights keep the ceiling feeling deep. LUXE is laid out as nested rectangles rather than as a central pendant. Each rectangular tier is a channel of vertical glass drops, and the tiers step up in height toward the centre of the ceiling, so the room is ringed by concentric bands rather than lit from one point.
Because the drops are hung in continuous runs, the tiers read as unbroken lines of light from any seat, and the stepped heights keep the ceiling feeling deep rather than flat. Scale is set by the room: the frame follows the ballroom's own proportions exactly.
