It is the flagship landmark located in Cotai City's Melco City, designed by the late legendary architect Zaha Hadid and opened in June 2018. It is hailed as "the world's first free-form exoskeleton skyscraper", with its iconic "8"-shaped hollow design and sci-fi-like mesh appearance that is unforgettable. The hotel boasts approximately 770 rooms, suites, and villas, all crafted by top interior designer Peter Remedios, equipped with a full smart home system and luxury bath amenities such as Acqua di Parma and Hermès. Furthermore, the hotel features a suspended sky pool on the 40th floor, 12 panoramic sightseeing elevators, a restaurant helmed by renowned chef Alain Ducasse, and Pierre Hermé dessert shop, earning it the reputation of being an architectural artwork that can be inhabited.
The restaurant pays tribute to the tradition of Chinese gardens. As soon as you walk in, you find yourself in the middle of a bamboo forest. The stylish Czech chandeliers are also installed in the kitchen, where the chef creates outstanding dishes. “Before cooking, there is nature,” says Alain Ducasse who holds 21 Michelin stars.
