EMPIRE is a tiered crystal chandelier by SHUCHUANG. A metal crown carries the top band, and beneath it each tier is strung as a separate ring of cut crystal strands, hung slightly shorter than the ring above so the silhouette closes toward the base. Lamps sit inside the body rather than below it, so light passes through the strands to reach the room and no source is visible from the floor. Made to order for stair halls, classical lobbies and reception rooms. Diameter, tier count, overall drop, crystal cut and metal finish are engineered to your ceiling height. EMPIRE is built in the classical manner: a banded crown at the top, then tier below tier of cut crystal strands falling to a closed point. It is made to sit in a stair hall and be seen from three floors at once.

A tiered crystal chandelier, strung tier over tier
EMPIRE follows the old construction. A metal crown carries the top band, and beneath it each tier is strung as a separate ring of cut crystal strands, hung slightly shorter than the ring above so the silhouette closes toward the base.
Lamps sit inside the body rather than below it, so the light has to pass through the strands to reach the room. That is what produces the particular quality of this type: a warm centre, a dense halo of small refractions around it, and no visible source at all from the floor.
