AURELIA is an amber glass chandelier by SHUCHUANG. Broad, slightly twisted amber glass blades hang vertically on their own lines and are packed close across a rectangular field, so their overlapping edges close the plan while the perimeter stays open. Strings of clear glass spheres are threaded down between them and hang lower than the amber, so the round and flat forms catch light in completely different ways and the piece keeps two distinct depths at all times. Made to order for reception halls, lobbies and lounge ceilings. Field size, blade count, blade length and sphere strings are engineered to your ceiling. Amber blades and clear pearls
AURELIA hangs broad amber glass blades in a dense rectangular field, then threads strings of clear glass spheres down between them so the two materials read at different depths.

Amber glass blades form the body. Each is a broad, slightly twisted sheet hung vertically on its own line, and the blades are packed close across a rectangular field so their overlapping edges close the plan while the field stays open at the perimeter.
Strings of clear glass spheres are then threaded down between the blades, hanging lower than the amber. Because the spheres are round and the blades are flat, the two catch light in completely different ways — a diffuse warm wash behind, hard bright points in front — and the piece keeps two distinct depths at all times.
