TEAROOM is a crystal dome chandelier by SHUCHUANG. Teardrop crystals are strung in concentric rings from a domed frame, longest at the crown and shortening toward the rim, so the underside forms a smooth convex curve and the piece sits close to the ceiling. The drops are dense enough to read as a solid glittering surface from below, but the shortening rings keep the rim soft, so the canopy fades into the ceiling rather than ending on a hard line. TEAROOM is a shallow dome rather than a hanging body. Teardrop crystals are strung in concentric rings from a domed frame, longest at the crown and shortening toward the rim, so the underside forms a smooth convex curve and the whole piece sits close to the ceiling.
The drops are hung densely enough that the dome reads as a solid glittering surface from directly below, but the shortening rings keep the rim soft rather than cut, so the canopy fades into the ceiling instead of ending on a hard line. It is designed to be complete and calm rather than dramatic.
