A rectangular field of vertical crystal rods hangs on a regular grid from a concealed frame, and each rod is cut to a different length following a rolling pattern so the lower edge rises and falls like a slow swell. The rods carry an internal texture, so light travels down the full length of each and the field glows as a continuous curtain rather than a set of points. CYLINDER is a rectangular field of vertical crystal rods hung on a regular grid from a concealed frame. The plan is strict, but each rod is cut to a different length, and the lengths follow a rolling pattern so the lower edge of the field rises and falls like a slow swell.
The rods carry an internal texture rather than a polished face, so light travels down the full length of each and the field glows as a continuous curtain instead of a set of points. Read from the lobby floor, the strict grid disappears and only the rolling lower edge remains.
