ETERNITY is a glass ring chandelier by SHUCHUANG. Two oval channels packed with vertical glass rods are hung so they interlock, one rising over the other where they meet, closing into a single looped path with no start and no end. The rods are lit from within the channels and hang free at the lower edge, so the ovals read as bands of solid light above and dissolve into separate points below, brightest where the two rings cross. ETERNITY sets two overlapping oval rings of vertical glass rods into a soft coffered ceiling, one passing over the other, so the piece reads as a single continuous ribbon folded back on itself.

A glass ring chandelier, looped into a figure of eight
Two oval channels are packed with vertical glass rods and hung so they interlock, one rising over the other where they meet. Read together they close into a single looped path with no start and no end — the form the piece is named for.
The rods are lit from within the channels and hang free at the lower edge, so the ovals read as bands of solid light above and dissolve into separate glinting points below. Where the two rings cross, the doubled depth of rod produces the brightest passage in the piece.
Made to order for suite living rooms, lounges and private salons. Oval size, ring count, rod length and overlap are engineered to your ceiling, and the loop can be built as two rings or extended to three.
