A formed frame rises and falls across the full length of the piece, and the amber crystal mesh is hung from it at a constant density, so the profile of the frame is what gives the piece its wave. The source sits above the mesh, producing a single warm field with no visible lamps and no cool spots, which lets it sit directly over a reception desk without throwing glare at the staff beneath. AURORA is carried on a formed frame that rises and falls across its length. The crystal mesh is hung from that frame at a constant density, so the profile of the frame — not the crystal — is what gives the piece its wave.
All the crystal is amber-toned and the light source sits above the mesh. The result is a single warm field with no visible lamps and no cool spots, which is what allows it to sit directly over a reception desk without throwing glare into the faces of the staff working beneath it.
