NEXUS is a crystal ribbon chandelier by SHUCHUANG. Each band is a length of crystal mesh on a formed edge wire, twisted along its run and passed over and under the bands beside it; the overlaps hold the composition together, with no central body and no frame the bands hang from. Two tones of crystal cross constantly, so the piece never settles into one colour but shifts as you walk the length of the room. Made to order for banquet halls, ballrooms and conference floors. Ribbons loose in the air
NEXUS folds wide bands of crystal mesh through one another above a banquet floor, some clear and some warm-toned. Nothing is symmetrical and nothing is anchored to the pattern of the ceiling behind it.

A crystal ribbon chandelier, folded through itself
Each band in NEXUS is a length of crystal mesh carried on a formed edge wire, twisted along its run and then passed over and under the bands beside it. The overlaps are what hold the composition together; there is no central body and no frame the bands hang from.
Two tones of crystal are used across the group. The clear bands stay cool and the warm bands pick up the gold, and because the two cross constantly the piece never settles into one colour — it shifts as you walk the length of the room beneath it.
