Design Story — How SHUCHUANG Crafts Bespoke Alabaster, Glass & Crystal Lighting
SHUCHUANG is a custom lighting manufacturer in Guzhen, Zhongshan, China. From hand-turned metalwork to final assembly, every bespoke fixture in alabaster, glass and crystal is made in our own workshop for designers and projects across Europe and the United States.

From Brief to Shipment
Every fixture, made in one house
SHUCHUANG is a custom lighting manufacturer in Guzhen, Zhongshan — China's lighting capital — with our own metal workshop since 2012. From the first drawing to the sealed crate, this is how a bespoke fixture in alabaster, glass or crystal is made for designers and projects across Europe and the United States.
Sampling
For bespoke pieces we can build a physical sample first, so form, finish and light are confirmed before the full run. Sampling is charged at three times the unit price, with the difference refunded against your shipment.
Optional · 30–45 daysIn-House Metalwork
In our own 2,000 m² metal workshop, frames are cut, turned and finished by hand. We are an assembly manufacturer with our own metalworking — not a trading company — so structure and tolerances stay under our control.
Assembly
In a further 2,000 m² of assembly, office and showroom space, alabaster, glass or crystal is fitted, wired and set. Each fixture is built to order, one at a time.
Quality & Certification
Every fixture is inspected before it leaves the workshop. Our standard products are CE-certified; for bespoke pieces, certification is arranged by the client for their own market.
Packaging & Sea Freight
Each piece is wrapped in extra-thick pearl-cotton (EPE foam) and sealed inside a one-piece wooden crate, then shipped by sea to Europe and the United States. A five-year warranty travels with it.
