DUNE keeps the mass of the block it came from — an off-round, hand-worked boulder of alabaster, hung from a single cord and a brass fitting.
Lit inside, the stone glows unevenly on purpose: deep where the block is thick, bright where it thins. It reads as something found rather than made.
