MAGNOLIA is a crystal lobby chandelier by SHUCHUANG. Rows of gold crystal are laid over a formed frame that curves out into rounded lobes, giving the ceiling plate a soft edge rather than a rim, and beneath it clear crystal strands fall from the centre in a dense column cut to different lengths and gathered into soft vertical folds. The lower half is cool and moving where the upper half is warm and still. Made to order for lobby atriums, double-height voids and reception halls. MAGNOLIA is built in two parts: a lobed canopy of gold crystal spreading flat across the ceiling, and a dense fall of clear crystal strands dropping from its centre through the atrium void.

A gold lobed canopy sets the upper half. Rows of gold crystal are laid over a formed frame that curves out into rounded lobes, so the ceiling plate has a soft edge rather than a rim, and the gold reads as a shallow bloom seen from the floor.
Beneath it the piece changes material and behaviour entirely. Clear crystal strands fall from the centre in a dense column, cut to different lengths and gathered into soft vertical folds, so the lower half is cool and moving where the upper half is warm and still.
