The St. Regis Astana

The hotel is located on the banks of the Ishim River within the Central Park in the heart of Astana. Designed by the British architecture firm WATG, its exterior pays tribute to Kazakh nomadic traditions with a golden dome resembling a "yurt". The interior, crafted by Wimberly Interiors, blends modern and neoclassical elements.

The art-piece gives the impression of layered feathers on wings of birds. The overall captures phases of movement in the flight of a bird of prey.
