Hollow glass bubbles in a wide range of diameters, clear and amber, are each hung on their own fine line, set so the whole field follows a single long curving arc through the void rather than filling it evenly. The largest bubbles anchor the densest part of the arc and the smallest trail off at its ends, so the sweep has weight and momentum and the amber bubbles read as warm bodies among the clear. Made to order for atrium voids, escalator wells and stair voids. Arc length, bubble count, size range and amber-to-clear ratio are engineered to your void. COSMIC threads clear and amber glass bubbles of many sizes onto fine lines that sweep in a long curving arc through an atrium, so the void reads as a scatter of planets drawn along one orbit.

COSMIC is built from hollow glass bubbles in a wide range of diameters, clear and amber, each hung on its own fine line. The lines are set so the whole field follows a single long curving arc through the void rather than filling it evenly, giving the piece a clear direction of travel.
Size does the composing. The largest bubbles anchor the densest part of the arc and the smallest trail off at its ends, so the sweep has weight and momentum, and the scattered amber bubbles read as warm bodies among the clear. Seen from several floors, the arc presents a different curve at each level.
Made to order for atrium voids, escalator wells and stair voids. Arc length, bubble count, size range and amber-to-clear ratio are engineered to your void, and the arc can be drawn to sweep past a stair or across an escalator.
