CONCH is a crystal shell chandelier by SHUCHUANG. Each element is a ribbed white crystal shell shaped like a scallop and hung facing along the direction of travel, set in a broad oval and turned progressively around it so the shells describe a closed loop that reads as one continuous current. The loop is dense at its ring and empty at its centre, and because every shell is angled slightly differently, light catches them in sequence and the ring appears to move. Made to order for reception halls, domed lobbies and circular ceilings. Oval size, shell count, shell size and drop range are engineered to your ceiling. Made to order in our own workshop in Guzhen, Zhongshan, China. Worldwide shipping.

Project
CONCH sets ribbed white crystal shells swimming in a long oval loop across a domed reception ceiling, densest along the ring and open at the centre, so the whole ceiling appears to circulate slowly above the desk.
CONCH is made to order in our own workshop. Oval size, shell count, shell size and drop range are all built to your ceiling, then shipped and delivered worldwide.
Each element in CONCH is a ribbed shell of white crystal, shaped like a scallop and hung so it faces along the direction of travel rather than flat. Set in a broad oval and turned progressively around it, the shells describe a closed loop that reads as one continuous current.
The loop is dense at its ring and empty at its centre, so the eye follows the band around rather than settling in the middle. Because every shell is angled slightly differently, light catches them in sequence rather than all at once, and the ring appears to move even though nothing turns.
Made to order for reception halls, domed lobbies and circular ceilings. Oval size, shell count, shell size and drop range are engineered to your ceiling, and the loop can be a closed oval or an open sweep across a longer space.
