It is the first hotel of the Four Seasons brand in South Korea, located in the heart of Seoul's Gwanghwamun Central Business District. It is within walking distance to historical sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace, Gwanghwamun Square, and Cheonggyecheon. The hotel stands at 29 stories and boasts 317 guest rooms and suites with abundant natural lighting. The interior design, crafted by LTW Designworks and Heerim Architects, blends modern style with classic Korean elements, featuring over 160 contemporary artworks.
We were looking for a simple design, taking inspiration from local culture, customs, and traditions. And so we took on the sound of the kkwaenggwari, the purity of Korean calligraphy, the bluish shimmers of the Hangang river, the waving branches of palm trees.
